Description

  • Develop and execute the annual audit plan in collaboration with the Head of Internal Audit.
  • Lead the full audit lifecycle for complex operational and financial audits, including planning, fieldwork, documentation, and reporting.
  • Lead SOX audits with focus on key business processes and anti-fraud controls.
  • Provide guidance and project management for SOX control deficiency remediation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to maximize reliance on Internal Audit work and ensure efficient control testing.
  • Design and execute operational audits and advisory projects across financial and operational areas.
  • Communicate audit findings, control deficiencies, and risk implications to senior management and support remediation efforts.
  • Assist with materials and presentations for reporting to the Audit Committee.
  • Support the management and continuous enhancement of the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) program.
  • Lead or support special project engagements and investigations as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement of audit methodologies, tools, and documentation practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, public accounting, or enterprise risk management.
  • Strong preference for candidates with Big 4 accounting firm experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end financial and operational audits.
  • Experience with Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
  • Deep understanding of SOX compliance, U.S. GAAP, and control frameworks such as COSO and PCAOB standards.
  • CPA or CIA certification required.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP and other IT financial/operational systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and build consensus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment while balancing hands-on execution and strategic planning.
