Description

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closes and manage consolidated group reporting.
  • Oversee IFRS and US GAAP reporting, including revenue recognition, project costing, and WIP calculations.
  • Manage cash flow, bank reconciliations, payment approvals, and working capital processes.
  • Supervise accounts receivable, accounts payable, credit risk, and order-to-cash and procure-to-pay workflows.
  • Oversee global payroll processing, statutory filings, and payroll journal integration.
  • Partner on tax compliance matters including VAT, sales tax, CFC reporting, transfer pricing, and return preparation.
  • Serve as functional lead for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central implementation, governance, and continuous improvement.
  • Drive automation of accounting processes and build finance, labor cost, KPI, and management reporting dashboards in Power BI.
  • Manage intercompany accounting, eliminations, consolidation workflows, and related journal entries.
  • Hire, train, and lead a finance and accounting team while supporting audits, controls, budgeting, forecasting, and performance reviews.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 15 years of progressive experience in accounting, audit, or related financial roles.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial reporting under IFRS.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
  • Proven track record with month-end close processes and external audits.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills, including complex formula modeling.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • High attention to detail, accountability, and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Fluent in English.
  • ACCA certification preferred.
  • Experience automating accounting and reporting processes in Business Central preferred.
  • Familiarity with international tax compliance, transfer pricing, and corporate law fundamentals preferred.
  • Strong project management experience, especially in scaling finance operations, preferred.
  • Prior experience in a startup or high-growth company environment preferred.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on process optimization preferred.
  • Fluent in Ukrainian or Russian.
