Description

  • Own monthly bank and credit card reconciliations across all locations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Record transactions and maintain accurate bookkeeping records in QuickBooks.
  • Manage accounts payable, including invoice coding, approvals, vendor records, and vendor inquiries.
  • Reconcile vendor balances and statements to the accounts payable subledger.
  • Lead the monthly financial close, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and close checklists.
  • Prepare and review financial statements and supporting schedules.
  • Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and support financial reporting, dashboards, and KPI reports.
  • Assist with payroll processing, payroll reviews, tax compliance, and payroll-related reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, audits, tax filings, and financial reviews.
  • Improve accounting processes, reporting infrastructure, and internal financial controls as the company grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 4 years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Hands-on experience with bank and credit card reconciliations, monthly close, general ledger accounting, and accounts payable.
  • Experience working with US-based companies; healthcare or multi-site service experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, payroll administration, and internal financial controls.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or Sage.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and take ownership of accounting responsibilities.
