Description

  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and scope.
  • Provide cost forecasts and progress reports to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Recommend cost‑saving measures and alternative solutions during pre‑construction phases.
  • Analyse project plans, blueprints, and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates and quantity take‑offs.
  • Calculate material, labour, and equipment costs and conduct risk assessments for estimates.
  • Research and source competitive quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and prepare detailed bid proposals and tender documents.
  • Maintain and update cost databases, pricing libraries, and estimation records.
  • Prepare and organise contracts, purchase orders, invoices, and other project documentation, and update CRM/project management tools with bid and project data.
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings with clients, suppliers, and team members, monitor deadlines for tenders and proposals, and ensure timely bid submissions.
  • Respond to client and supplier enquiries, create and present estimation reports, and communicate project updates via Slack and other collaboration tools.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in construction estimation.
  • Proficiency with construction estimation software such as Cubit or similar tools (e.g., Bluebeam, PlanSwift, CostX).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, for data organisation and reporting.
  • Experience using Slack for team collaboration and project tracking.
  • Familiarity with CRM and project management tools (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend).
  • Demonstrated ability to perform quantity take‑offs, cost analysis, and prepare tender/bid documents.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities across a project lifecycle.
  • Based in or able to work from the Philippines in a full‑time remote capacity.
