Description

  • Lead the Payments team and own its strategic direction.
  • Define and communicate the Payments team vision, strategy, and business value to stakeholders.
  • Partner with engineering on roadmap planning and decision frameworks.
  • Collaborate with engineering across design, build, migration, and operationalization of service-oriented architecture.
  • Work with other Commerce teams on shared services development, migration, and ongoing improvements.
  • Partner with operational teams such as customer experience, member experience, and finance to achieve organizational goals.
  • Work directly with payment providers on integrations, roadmap development, operational improvements, and accountability.
  • Ensure payment systems scale effectively while improving operational efficiency and trust in the member experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on payments.
  • Payments experience across the full stack, from frontend experience to integration, operations, and finance.
  • Experience with payments infrastructure such as vaulting, ledger systems, routing, tokenization, and optimization.
  • Deep understanding of card payments and operating within a payments partner ecosystem.
  • Experience managing partner relationships, including accountability and negotiations, is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills on distributed teams.
  • Experience in enterprise or B2B ecommerce at global scale.
  • Ability to write an API spec and communicate effectively with engineering.
  • Experience working across different stages of scale, from early-stage to large-scale environments.
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to build decision-making frameworks.
  • Humor, grace, and patience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • U.S. candidate only; role is fully remote or hybrid in the San Francisco Bay Area.
