Description

  • Lead and contribute to end-to-end research projects from hypothesis development through analysis, interpretation, and dissemination.
  • Design rigorous studies and analyses across sleep and circadian biology, women’s health, cardiometabolic health, and physical activity.
  • Develop and apply advanced statistical and computational models to real-world physiological and behavioral data.
  • Translate research findings into actionable product recommendations and future feature ideas.
  • Collaborate closely with Health Science, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Clinical research partners.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships across cross-functional squads.
  • Contribute to scientific dissemination through abstracts, posters, and peer-reviewed manuscripts.
  • Support literature synthesis and contextualize findings within the current evidence base.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant field such as bioengineering, data science, biostatistics, neuroscience, biomedical engineering, computer science, exercise science, women’s health, or digital health.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in a quantitative or computational field such as computer science, data science, engineering, or biostatistics.
  • Strong track record of first-authored peer-reviewed publications or patent applications.
  • Deep hands-on experience with statistical modeling and applied ML in Python or R.
  • Experience working with time-series or physiological data and predictive analytics.
  • Fluency in advanced statistical methods such as mixed-effects models, survival analysis, and Bayesian inference.
  • Domain knowledge in at least one focus area: sleep and circadian biology, women’s reproductive health, cardiometabolic health, movement and physical activity, longevity, neuroendocrinology, or immune function.
  • Experience with wearable or sensor-based data, digital health platforms, or similar applied data environments.
  • Strong product intuition and comfort working in ambiguous, exploratory R&D settings.
  • Strong scientific communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • US salary range: Region 1 $151,300–$178,000; Region 2 $138,550–$163,000; Region 3 $127,500–$150,000.
