Description

  • Build and lead a high-performing, globally distributed Integration & Automation Engineering team and transition delivery from contractors to full-time employees.
  • Own Oura’s Business Technology Services and enterprise integration platform, including reusable API- and event-driven services that connect core systems and data platforms.
  • Own Workato as the enterprise delivery surface for integrations and automations, and improve it with secure, observable, reusable, and enterprise-grade CI/CD and code-promotion practices.
  • Define and run the operating model for integrations and automation, including intake, prioritization, capacity management, and roadmap planning.
  • Establish reliability practices such as observability, SLOs, on-call coverage, incident management, and runbooks for mission-critical integration services.
  • Partner with Security, Data, and Finance to ensure sensitive and SOX-relevant integrations are auditable, governed, and change-managed.
  • Work with the AI Productivity team to evaluate and absorb AI-augmented workflows, agent-based integrations, and emerging MCP patterns into production.
  • Serve as a visible technical leader and communicate platform strategy, risks, and trade-offs to executives and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience building and operating integration platforms, iPaaS solutions, or API services in modern SaaS environments, including ERP and other mission-critical systems.
  • 5+ years of experience managing engineers and technical program leaders, including hiring, performance management, and leading distributed teams.
  • 3+ years of experience developing digital AI products and AI-augmented integrations using agentic coding or LLM-driven development approaches.
  • Deep experience with modern integration patterns such as event-driven architecture, REST/GraphQL, and webhooks.
  • Experience with at least one major iPaaS platform such as Workato, Boomi, MuleSoft, Tray, or n8n.
  • Experience with a cloud-native integration stack such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Proven experience operating platform teams that serve internal engineering or business customers, with intake discipline, capacity planning, SLAs/SLOs, and roadmap ownership.
  • Experience working in or around SOX-relevant systems and ITGC controls, with strong change-management discipline.
  • Experience leading engineers across multiple time zones in a distributed environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence prioritization across functions and explain strategy to executives and finance leaders.
