Description

  • Lead the annual budget, rolling forecast, and long-range planning processes.
  • Develop integrated financial models for SaaS and payments revenue streams, including cash flow forecasts and scenario analyses.
  • Provide strategic financial guidance and planning support to the C-suite and functional leaders.
  • Serve as the primary finance partner to Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Operations on initiatives, pricing, acquisition strategy, and key metrics.
  • Partner with Sales on commission plan design, quota setting, and sales efficiency analysis.
  • Work with Product and Payments teams to model the financial impact of new features, pricing changes, and partner agreements.
  • Analyze SaaS and payments KPIs, including ARR, MRR, gross margin, retention/churn, interchange revenue, take rate, and related metrics.
  • Build and manage dashboards, reporting tools, and KPI views for real-time financial and operational visibility.
  • Own monthly and quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis and board decks.
  • Lead FP&A systems and process optimization, including automation, data integrity, and reconciliation with accounting.
  • Manage, mentor, and grow the FP&A team while fostering accountability and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 8–12 years of progressive FP&A experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in SaaS and/or fintech environments.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS metrics such as ARR, NDR, CAC, LTV, and churn.
  • Understanding of fintech and payments economics, including interchange, processing costs, and revenue share.
  • Strong financial modeling skills and advanced fluency in Excel.
  • Experience with FP&A tools such as Cube, Mosaic, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar.
  • Experience with data and BI platforms such as Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with comfort working with C-level executives.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects, identify and collaborate with stakeholders, and influence without authority.
  • Preferred experience with B2B SaaS pricing models, including tiered or usage-based pricing.
  • Preferred experience with payments or embedded finance, including ACH/card rails and payout flows.
  • Preferred experience supporting venture-backed companies through scale, fundraising cycles, and M&A.
