Description

  • Identify key data and market insights to inform product design, launch, and management decisions.
  • Determine whether products should be added, modified, or discontinued for a subset of the portfolio based on performance results.
  • Support product strategy development through market research, competitive analysis, and internal performance insights.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform benefit design, cost-sharing, and positioning decisions.
  • Track regulatory, policy, and market developments and assess their potential impact on products.
  • Support population- and segment-based research to understand member and employer needs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional execution across product, market, actuarial, regulatory, and operations teams.
  • Assist in developing product artifacts for filings, launch readiness, and internal governance.
  • Monitor post-launch product performance across growth, retention, utilization, and margin metrics.
  • Support QA, validation, documentation, and auditability of product designs and filing materials.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience developing and managing commercial insurance products.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or healthcare field such as Business, Healthcare, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Finance, or equivalent experience (preferred).
  • 3+ years of experience in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment such as consulting, finance, economics, or business development (preferred).
  • Prior experience in health insurance, especially Individual and/or Small Employer, or in the healthcare industry (preferred).
  • Proven analytical experience translating data into insight and action (preferred).
  • Ability to work with large datasets and distill analyses into actionable business insights (preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes using a structured, systematic thought process (preferred).
  • Must reside in one of the eligible remote-work states listed in the posting.
  • Understanding of or ability to comply with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Base salary of $96,130 - $126,171 per year for most locations, or $106,812 - $140,190 per year in New Jersey, New York, and California.
