Description

  • Own the QA execution framework and continuous validation process to ensure product designs and filing artifacts reflect approved product intent.
  • Establish quality thresholds, escalation criteria, and remediation workflows for defects or gaps.
  • Translate QA outcomes into actionable insights for Product Managers and leadership.
  • Ensure testing aligns with approved product designs, versions, and regulatory requirements.
  • Partner with Product Managers to confirm testing, log and resolve findings, and obtain sign-off.
  • Lead production and publication readiness, including extract timing, release scheduling, and publication controls.
  • Enforce system freeze windows and version control standards to prevent unauthorized changes and maintain source-of-record accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for third-party vendors supporting product execution and QA.
  • Oversee vendor performance, capacity, quality, and delivery expectations, including risk mitigation and optimization.
  • Lead regulatory filings and quality assurance teams, set priorities and performance expectations, and manage associate-level staff.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in insurance product execution, regulatory filings, or related roles, including IFP and Small Group.
  • 3+ years of people management experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with health insurance regulatory filing processes, with significant familiarity with ACA and state regulatory environments.
  • 4+ years of experience leading complex QA and production workflows.
  • 4+ years of experience with controls, documentation standards, and version management.
  • 3+ years of experience working closely with senior leaders and supporting execution through planning, prioritization, and operating cadence.
  • 3+ years of project management experience managing complex stakeholder calendars, forums, and meeting rhythms.
  • 3+ years of experience managing or overseeing third-party vendors.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business, healthcare, or a quantitative field preferred.
  • Experience with product development processes focused on individual and family plans preferred.
  • Experience supporting senior leaders through cross-functional agenda setting, meeting preparation, and follow-through on key decisions preferred.

  • Base salary range of $180,504 - $236,911 in New Jersey, New York, and California; $162,453 - $213,220 in all other locations.
