Description

  • Build and maintain features across Vue 3 + TypeScript front ends and PHP/WordPress/Laravel back ends.
  • Work within a custom object-oriented WordPress plugin architecture using controllers, route handlers, factories, and traits.
  • Develop and evolve a versioned REST API, including the v4 to v5 migration without breaking existing consumers.
  • Develop and integrate standalone Vue apps into WordPress themes and plugins, and build reusable components in Storybook.
  • Maintain API health and observability through health checks, error tracking, and graceful degradation when external services fail.
  • Work in a Docker Compose environment with Nginx, MySQL/MariaDB, and Redis, and ship through CI/CD pipelines to Azure.
  • Support code quality through type safety, linting, formatting, performance optimization, and accessibility.
  • Participate in code reviews, fix bugs, and gradually expand ownership areas.

Requirements

  • Spanish proficiency at B2 level or higher is required.
  • 4 years of professional fullstack or strong frontend-leaning fullstack web development experience.
  • Strong Vue 3 experience with the Composition API and TypeScript.
  • Comfort with Pinia, Vue Router, and a data-fetching layer such as TanStack Query or Axios.
  • Strong object-oriented PHP and WordPress experience, including themes, plugins, hooks, and custom queries, or strong OOP PHP with willingness to ramp up on WordPress.
  • Understanding of REST API design, including versioning, routing, request/response handling, and consuming APIs from a SPA.
  • Comfortable with Vite, SCSS, and responsive layout frameworks such as Bootstrap or PrimeVue.
  • Experience with Git and Docker, and ability to navigate a large mixed-technology codebase.
  • Self-directed on well-defined tasks and able to communicate clearly in written English.
  • Laravel or another PHP framework experience is preferred.
  • Experience with headless or hybrid WordPress architectures is preferred.
  • Practical experience with design patterns, clean API versioning and migration, observability, Storybook, micro-frontend patterns, or embedding SPAs into a CMS is preferred.
