Description

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for transplant centers, OPOs, and internal teams needing support with the OrganOx metra®.
  • Provide real-time remote troubleshooting guidance for device setup, perfusion workflow, and system alerts.
  • Monitor cases by reviewing device parameters, escalating issues when needed, and supporting proactive interventions.
  • Document customer interactions, case notes, and recommendations according to Good Documentation Practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Track recurring issues and communicate trends to leadership for quality improvement.
  • Coordinate with Clinical Specialists, Engineering, Quality, and Customer Operations to ensure seamless support.
  • Assist with scheduling, triaging incoming requests, and handing off cases that require onsite assistance.
  • Participate in team huddles, call reviews, and calibration sessions to maintain support consistency.
  • Complete onboarding, competency assessments, and ongoing training related to the metra® system.
  • Contribute to training projects, resource creation, and customer readiness initiatives.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher in a health or business-related field, or equivalent clinical experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU, ECMO, transplant, perfusion, organ procurement, or research.
  • Ability to support customers remotely across multiple time zones.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities, and remain composed under pressure.
  • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred: RN, Respiratory Therapist, Perfusion Assistant, Anesthesia Assistant, or a degree in a health science–related field.
  • Preferred: Certification in a health-related field.
  • Preferred: Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Preferred: Liver transplant or organ procurement experience.
  • Fully remote setup with reliable high-speed internet and availability for scheduled coverage blocks.
  • Willingness to complete a 16-week certification period that includes travel to training courses and customer case support.
