Description

  • Deploy, install, and manage Kubernetes clusters in on-prem and hybrid environments.
  • Configure and maintain GitOps workflows, Helm/Kustomize, and artifact registries in restricted networks.
  • Design, operate, and lead incident response for the observability stack, including Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Enforce disaster recovery processes and support system resilience.
  • Harden environments through network segmentation, mTLS, IAM, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Produce compliance documentation and operational runbooks.
  • Train agency and Orcrist teams on platform operations.
  • Act as a forward-deployed SRE during incidents and upgrades.
  • Ensure systems meet privacy, audit, and legal evidence requirements for law-enforcement use cases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of SRE/DevOps experience with on-call ownership and production system operations.
  • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes in on-prem and hybrid environments.
  • Experience with GitOps tools such as Argo CD or Flux.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Strong observability experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
  • Experience handling complex incident response and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in German and English at C1+ level.
  • Authorization to work in Germany.
  • Willingness to travel 20–30%.
  • Preferred experience with law-enforcement or broader public-sector IT and governance structures.
  • Preferred certifications such as CKA, CKAD, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, CISSP, or GDPR practitioner.
  • Preferred experience integrating IAM systems such as SAML and LDAP.
  • Preferred experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or Elastic.
  • Preferred experience with forensic logging or digital-evidence systems.
  • Preferred familiarity with digital evidence workflows and judicial proceedings.
  • Preferred experience operating air-gapped or other sensitive mission-critical environments.
