Description

  • Lead full-lifecycle delivery of data integrations, from requirements and connector design through testing, deployment, and validation.
  • Conduct ongoing customer technical discovery to map network topology, data sources, dependencies, and operational constraints.
  • Design and build custom data connectors and integration plugins for complex or undocumented operational source systems.
  • Own on-premises data platform environments and cloud-connected infrastructure, including cluster configuration, connectivity, provisioning, and access controls.
  • Deploy and validate integrations across cloud-native, on-premises, and tactical-edge customer environments.
  • Diagnose cross-system integration failures, triage platform versus integration-code issues, and escalate product defects with reproducible evidence.
  • Mentor Integration Engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical feedback; serve as the first technical escalation point.
  • Document technical decisions and contribute reusable integration patterns, runbooks, onboarding materials, and architectural standards.
  • Support customer technical exchanges and provide solution-oriented status updates to the team lead.

Requirements

  • 5–8 years of software engineering experience focused on system integrations, data pipelines, and distributed data platforms.
  • Proficiency in Go (preferred) or Python for integration development.
  • Experience leading integrations from requirements through production deployment and making technical decisions.
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code and deployment tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
  • Working knowledge of on-premises big-data platforms, such as Hadoop, Spark, Hive, or Presto.
  • Experience with cloud-native environments, including GCP VPC, BigQuery, Dataflow, or GKE, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
  • Knowledge of IAM, VPC Service Controls, network security, and access controls across multi-environment deployments.
  • Experience debugging complex cross-system integration failures in production or near-production environments.
  • Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating in distributed, remote, cross-functional teams.
  • Willingness to travel to the Middle East, including geopolitical hot zones, up to 40% of the time.
  • Customer technical discovery experience and familiarity with defense data standards such as ASTERIX, CoT, STANAG, or radar UDP (preferred).
  • Military, law enforcement, intelligence, edge-deployment, zero-trust, or international field-program experience (preferred).
