Description

  • Develop and execute business-winning strategies and campaigns to secure new orders and expand the business internationally.
  • Own opportunities from initial concept through profitability, ensuring sustainable market growth.
  • Lead the preparation of bids, proposals, and customer-focused value propositions.
  • Work closely with strategic partners and distributors across global markets.
  • Represent OpenWorks in presentations, expert panels, demonstrations, and customer meetings.
  • Travel across assigned regions to engage with customers and partners as needed.
  • Support system integration activities and ensure customer needs are understood and addressed.
  • Maintain compliance with company processes and applicable laws.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in the defence and security sector.
  • Strong understanding of multi-domain defence applications.
  • Proven track record of developing successful, profitable business campaigns and sales.
  • Highly autonomous and productive in business development work.
  • Creative, proactive approach to identifying and evaluating new opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical capabilities to non-technical audiences.
  • Confident briefing style suitable for senior stakeholders across industry, government, and the military.
  • Strong internal relationship-building skills.
  • Full driving licence.
  • Ability to obtain, or already hold, security clearance.
  • Additional languages preferred.
  • Experience with optical systems preferred.
  • Existing relationships with leading authorities and industry integrators preferred.
