Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, make product decisions, and ship meaningful updates.
  • Design engagement experiences using social sharing, challenges, achievements, and user-generated content.
  • Create membership experiences that communicate value and scale across markets with local relevance.
  • Design motion, system behaviors, and transitions that guide attention and confirm user actions.
  • Use front-end code and AI tools to explore, communicate, and prototype design concepts.
  • Contribute to and extend AllTrails’ evolving design system.
  • Own design work from concept through launch and evaluate post-launch performance.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional experience researching, designing, and shipping consumer digital features across iOS, Android, and web.
  • Experience taking product ideas from concept through release and learning from post-launch results.
  • Strong visual, interaction, and motion design judgment.
  • Ability to use code and AI-generated prototypes as design exploration tools.
  • Proficiency creating prompts, providing context, critically evaluating AI output, and iterating toward quality results.
  • Strong design systems thinking, including knowing when to use, extend, or create patterns.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and grow online communities.
  • Experience with subscription-based business models preferred.
  • Experience developing AI-native products, agentic workflows, or multimodal interfaces preferred.
  • Experience designing for international audiences, illustration skills, and/or active participation in outdoor activities preferred.
