Description

  • Ensure the stability, security, and performance of the production network through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues with minimal impact to business-critical services.
  • Manage and maintain on-premises network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Design, implement, and evolve scalable network architectures to support new initiatives and company growth.
  • Monitor network performance, availability, and capacity and drive improvements.
  • Develop and implement automation to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  • Design, test, and manage network security strategies such as DDoS mitigation, failover, and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and mentor team members by sharing best practices and technical expertise.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and recommend network optimization improvements.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into network operations for monitoring, anomaly detection, predictive maintenance, forecasting, scaling, and traffic analysis.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of networking experience is required, including at least 5 years supporting enterprise-scale networks.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP or CCDP are required or strongly preferred.
  • A BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, though equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Strong expertise in routing and switching protocols such as BGP and OSPF, and Layer 2 technologies including VLANs, STP, and VRRP.
  • VXLAN experience is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and load balancers such as F5 or FortiADC.
  • Proficiency with network platforms such as Junos, Arista EOS, ScreenOS, or similar systems.
  • Experience supporting production environments, 24/7 operations, and high-availability systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills using Linux-based tools, monitoring systems, and performance analysis techniques.
  • Experience working in data center environments, with exposure to network monitoring, security, and DevOps/automation tools.
  • A collaborative, self-driven leadership style with strong communication skills, ownership mindset, and the ability to mentor junior team members.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
