Description

  • Own security for internal AI assistants, agents, connectors, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows from intake through production.
  • Co-develop and execute the internal AI security roadmap with the AI Security Architect/Manager.
  • Define security review standards, secure-by-default baselines, and approval processes for AI configurations and tooling.
  • Architect and operate the AI Detection and Response capability, including monitoring, alerting, and response integration.
  • Lead reviews of third-party AI tools, SaaS features, connectors, MCP servers, and models.
  • Threat-model AI use cases and address prompt injection, jailbreaks, tool misuse, data leakage, and supply-chain risks.
  • Lead AI-driven security automation for alert triage, detection engineering, and vulnerability management.
  • Own AI security metrics and report security posture and program progress to leadership.
  • Partner with IT, Legal, Privacy, Compliance, and business teams to operationalize AI governance and technical guardrails.
  • Lead AI-related incident response, monitor the threat landscape, and mentor AI Security team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in security engineering, security operations, application security, or a related discipline.
  • 1–2 years of hands-on experience securing or building with LLM-based systems, assistants, agents, tool integrations, or retrieval-augmented workflows.
  • Experience owning a security program or major initiative end to end and making independent risk decisions.
  • Knowledge of AI threats and frameworks including OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications, MITRE ATLAS, and NIST AI RMF.
  • Experience with SaaS security, identity and access controls, least privilege, data-sharing configurations, and vendor risk assessments.
  • Experience with detection engineering, SIEM, log analysis, monitoring, and alerting.
  • Proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages, APIs, and tool integrations.
  • Strong communication skills for explaining AI risks to technical and executive audiences.
  • Preferred: enterprise AI administration, iPaaS/API gateways, AI security automation, LLM red-teaming, security certifications, or SOC 2/ISO 27001 experience.
