Description

  • Develop and maintain data integration pipelines using ETL and ELT processes across cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Design and implement data models, data warehouses, and data lakes for financial reporting and analytics.
  • Optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of data storage and processing systems.
  • Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure data availability, quality, and integrity.
  • Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and deployment processes to maintain engineering standards.
  • Ensure data security and privacy compliance with industry-specific regulatory requirements.
  • Define architecture and design solutions for business intelligence and software applications.
  • Support test and implementation activities for business intelligence and software applications.
  • Engage with internal leadership and project teams to deliver solutions and business value.

Requirements

  • Prior experience in data warehousing or business intelligence.
  • Experience architecting and/or building cloud-based data platforms is a significant advantage.
  • Experience with cloud and on-premise database technologies such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Technical experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Fivetran, DBT, Matillion, SSIS, Coalesce, Talend, Informatica, or Rivery.
  • Experience with BI/data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Sigma, Pyramid Analytics, ThoughtSpot, Sisense, or Qlik.
  • Experience designing and implementing data models for applications and/or reporting purposes.
  • Strong interest in hands-on development of data lakes, data warehouses, and performance management solutions.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and quantitative skills with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience with real-time data processing frameworks such as Kafka, Spark, or similar.
  • Background working with financial datasets, including transactional data, risk metrics, or compliance reports.
  • Familiarity with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $60,000–$85,000 USD annually, depending on experience and location.
  • Additional compensation may include bonuses, equity, or benefits.
