Description

  • Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Airflow (MWAA).
  • Develop production-grade Python solutions for API and SDK integrations, data processing, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Model and evolve Snowflake data warehouses and develop transformations with dbt.
  • Define architecture, development standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform.
  • Implement data quality, monitoring, testing, and reliability practices with Grafana and CloudWatch.
  • Establish data governance processes including cataloging, lineage, and access control.
  • Optimize cost and performance across Snowflake, AWS, and Spark.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD processes for data pipelines and data models.

Requirements

  • Production experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Advanced Python 3.x skills, including production applications, API/SDK integrations, error handling, testing, and maintainable code.
  • Advanced T-SQL skills, including query tuning.
  • Experience with Snowflake and dbt.
  • Proficiency with AWS services including S3, Lambda, EMR, and ECS.
  • Experience with Terraform or equivalent infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Familiarity with Docker and continuous delivery practices.
  • Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, monitoring, and observability.
  • Experience with Apache Spark or PySpark preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agentic AI, LLMs, AWS Bedrock, and additional AWS services preferred.
  • Experience with InfluxDB, OpenSearch, Great Expectations, or Elementary preferred.
  • Familiarity with Collibra Connect, Guidewire Data Hub, and Azure DevOps preferred.
  • Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization preferred.
