Description

  • Review completed reactive work orders to understand how field issues were diagnosed and resolved.
  • Develop and revise maintenance and troubleshooting procedures to address recurring issues consistently.
  • Create and update procedures in Limble so they are accurate and usable for field technicians.
  • Gather feedback from field service technicians to identify gaps and improve procedures.
  • Support troubleshooting of active equipment issues and contribute engineering judgment when needed.
  • Analyze equipment failure data to identify trends by equipment type, site location, vintage, manufacturer, and other factors.
  • Prepare reports for OEM partners and senior leadership on reliability trends, warranty escalations, and recommendations.
  • Maintain organized documentation of procedure revisions, version history, and change rationale.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • 0–5 years of relevant experience; new graduates with strong fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
  • Working knowledge of electrical systems, power electronics, or industrial/utility equipment fundamentals.
  • Strong written communication skills to translate troubleshooting steps into clear, field-ready procedures.
  • Analytical mindset with comfort using Excel or similar tools to identify patterns and trends in failure data.
  • Comfort engaging directly with field technicians to gather feedback and validate procedure changes.
  • Ability to work in a CMMS platform such as Limble to create and maintain procedure records; prior hands-on experience is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple procedure and analysis workstreams concurrently.
  • Remote-based role with occasional travel expected.
