Description

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new product features and improvements.
  • Contribute to the development of a compliance rules engine that supports legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Build workflow automations that streamline and optimize the employee onboarding process.
  • Design and develop robust, user-friendly React interfaces for seamless user interactions.
  • Create embeddable user interfaces that can be integrated into clients’ existing systems.
  • Work on internationalization to support a global user base.
  • Integrate third-party APIs to enhance platform functionality and features.
  • Own key product domains, identify problem areas and improvement opportunities, and help prioritize the backlog with stakeholders.
  • Write implementation plans, architecture decisions, and design tradeoffs as part of the engineering process.
  • Build code with testing and observability in mind, including effective use of metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience working as a full-time professional software engineer.
  • Proven experience as a full-stack engineer with a strong track record of building and shipping software products.
  • Experience working with APIs and integrating third-party services.
  • Solid understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Demonstrated ability to make product decisions through first-principled reasoning and customer use cases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with non-trivial complexity.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Remix, React, and Prisma.
  • Experience writing TypeScript with Effect.js.
  • Deep understanding of testing and observability, including practical experience with Datadog and Sentry.
  • Proficiency with metrics, logs, traces, and alerts.
