Description

  • Represent Pinterest’s global asset footprint by driving analytics, governance, recommendations, and cost savings across software, SaaS, cloud, hardware, infrastructure, and consulting agreements.
  • Partner with IT and business stakeholders to onboard AI tool pilots and support legal review and vendor security compliance.
  • Analyze financial and business data across cloud, network, desktop, consulting, and SaaS/licensing spend to improve decision-making and identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Review invoices and contracts with Procurement and IT to ensure accurate budgeting and forecasting and to optimize costs.
  • Analyze vendor history and current/future licensing needs to establish license positioning and optimize software usage.
  • Prepare and execute Quarterly Business Reviews for strategic vendors, including performance analysis and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support Software Asset Management tools to analyze enterprise software spend, identify savings, and develop a long-term optimization roadmap.
  • Assist in managing the IT team budget by updating monthly and yearly forecasts with IT leadership and FP&A.
  • Develop models and analyses that support strategic vendor and software investment decisions aligned to organizational goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Software Asset Management or a related function.
  • 5+ years of experience managing complex vendor engagements across onboarding, offboarding, renewals, contract analysis, licensing reviews, and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Strong knowledge of software licensing, SaaS, cloud, and enterprise software spend management.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, including advanced spreadsheet experience.
  • Experience with budgeting and forecasting cycles, invoice and contract reconciliation, and translating spend data into recommendations and forecasts.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create executive-ready materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated cross-functional collaboration experience with Procurement, Finance, FP&A, IT leadership, security, legal, and business stakeholders.
  • Experience using SAM, discovery, financial, contract, and vendor management tools to analyze technology spend, track compliance, and optimize costs.
  • Experience working in Agile or sprint-based operating models in fast-moving, cross-functional environments.
  • Preferred: experience supporting the onboarding of emerging technology or AI tools across legal, security, compliance, and business stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits

  • Base salary range of $110,494 to $227,486 USD for US-based applicants.
  • Eligible for equity.
  • Remote-friendly role with in-office collaboration only 1-2 times every 6 months.
  • Can be situated anywhere in the country, with a preference for candidates based on the West Coast.
  • No relocation assistance provided.
