Description

  • Manage execution of engineering projects, meeting deadlines and maintaining quality standards.
  • Lead a team of 3 engineers focused on the security, maintenance, and developer productivity of Engage services.
  • Oversee security upgrades across Engage microservices to keep them secure and performant.
  • Identify, prioritize, and resolve technical debt in collaboration with product and engineering partners.
  • Own and execute the team’s product roadmap in alignment with long-term business objectives.
  • Develop and implement new processes to address business needs and improve team effectiveness.
  • Ensure systems meet performance, scalability, and quality standards.
  • Evaluate team performance and quality, and drive continuous improvements.
  • Act as the main escalation point for major technical issues and stakeholder concerns.
  • Partner with clients, partners, and cross-functional teams to resolve technical needs and deliver effective solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 12+ years of engineering experience, including 2+ years in management.
  • Deep knowledge of technical architecture, system design, and scalability.
  • Experience collaborating across teams to develop and execute product roadmaps.
  • Proven success in hiring and managing engineering teams.
  • Strong experience developing technical teams with a focus on performance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and empathetic leadership skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies and a track record of process improvement, experimentation, and innovation.
  • Ability to lead independently while staying aligned with company objectives.
