Description

  • Accurately implement creative designs across banners, CRM, email, microsites, and other digital projects.
  • Build and maintain work in WYNG and PRM platforms, as well as custom developments and mobile-responsive applications.
  • Ensure code follows agreed standards, coding methodologies, best practices, and company regulations.
  • Produce reliable code and collaborate with testers to verify functionality and behaviour.
  • Own day-to-day bug fixing and communicate issues clearly with the wider team.
  • Work with the creative team to assess feasibility of concepts and layouts within technical constraints.
  • Research emerging technologies and identify ways new tools can add value for clients.
  • Contribute to Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and iterative delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, including SASS.
  • Strong JavaScript skills with experience in Angular (TypeScript) or comparable frameworks.
  • Experience hand-coding HTML email with knowledge of cross-client rendering and email best practices.
  • Familiarity with NPM, Git, and task runners such as Gulp or Grunt.
  • Working knowledge of WordPress and/or AEM.
  • Experience working with web services and JSON.
  • Familiarity with third-party ad serving platform implementations.
  • Basic design skills and the ability to interpret creative direction accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail and an analytical approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new languages, platforms, and technologies.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize across multiple workstreams.
  • Clear communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in financial services is an advantage, though not essential.
  • Proficiency with Gen AI tools for code generation, debugging support, and documentation assistance.
  • Experience building personal AI workflows to accelerate development tasks without compromising code quality.
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and apply human review before implementation.
  • Agentic approach to breaking down complex, multi-component builds.
  • Formal qualifications are welcome but not required; equivalent experience through work, self-directed learning, or open source contribution counts equally.
