Description

Maintain supplier approval records, ingredient documentation, and compliance records to support supplier qualification and ongoing compliance.
Partner with Procurement, R&D, and Regulatory teams on supplier onboarding, vendor approvals, ingredient changes, and supplier quality initiatives.
Evaluate suppliers and ingredients using risk-based assessments and implement controls, monitoring, and preventive measures.
Monitor supplier performance, compliance metrics, and supply chain KPIs; identify risks and improvement opportunities.
Prepare supplier performance scorecards and support supplier review activities.
Lead supplier quality investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, documentation review, and follow-up.
Build and maintain supplier relationships through communication, issue resolution, and ongoing support.
Visit supplier facilities as needed to verify systems and facilities meet OLIPOP quality standards.
Review ingredient specifications, COAs, and supporting documentation to support ingredient releases.
Develop, update, and maintain SOPs, job aids, work instructions, forms, and other controlled documents.

Requirements

3–5 years of quality assurance, supplier quality, quality systems, food safety, or related experience in the food and beverage industry.
Supplier quality experience preferred.
Experience reviewing technical documentation, including ingredient specifications, COAs, supplier documentation, and quality system records.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets is required; prior experience with Google Workspace is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Transparent, honest communication skills and the ability to work independently while keeping teammates informed.
Strong written communication skills with the ability to provide clear status updates and recommendations.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines, set priorities, and carry out plans.
Experience developing and implementing document control processes is a plus.
Experience using supplier compliance software such as FoodLogiQ is a plus.
Role is location-based in Burlingame, California and requires onsite presence 4 days per week.
