Description

  • Develop and implement regional P2P expansion strategies across Latin America to support sustainable business growth.
  • Monitor regulatory developments in the region and assess their impact on P2P business models.
  • Adjust market strategy in response to competitive shifts and changing market conditions.
  • Design and optimize merchant onboarding, segmentation, and incentive structures.
  • Maintain close relationships with key merchants to improve liquidity depth and spread competitiveness.
  • Improve completion rates, trading efficiency, and dispute resolution performance.
  • Build structured management frameworks for regional merchant operations.
  • Work with Product and Engineering to improve P2P transaction workflows and feature design.
  • Provide feedback on product gaps, user pain points, and regional behavioral differences.
  • Monitor core P2P KPIs, analyze data for bottlenecks and risks, and track competitor strategies to inform responses.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in platform operations, with crypto/Web3 experience strongly preferred.
  • 2–3 years of hands-on P2P operations experience in overseas markets outside Mainland China.
  • Experience at major exchanges such as Binance, Bybit, or Bitget.
  • Strong understanding of P2P liquidity dynamics, spread formation, and regional payment systems.
  • Experience with LATAM payment methods such as bank transfers, local e-wallets, PIX, SPEI, and Mercado Pago.
  • Proven ability to adapt operations strategy based on market and competitive changes.
  • Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capability.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish or Portuguese; both languages are a strong plus.
  • Preferred: experience managing regional teams, community contributors, or local operators across LATAM markets.
  • Preferred: strong understanding of overseas P2P fraud patterns and payment risks, particularly in LATAM.
  • Preferred: ability to clearly explain structural differences between regional P2P markets.
  • Preferred: familiarity with crypto and digital payments regulations in key LATAM jurisdictions such as Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, and El Salvador.
