Description

  • Lead Dutch language quality initiatives, including localization reviews, UX testing, and identification of linguistic, functional, and cultural issues.
  • Apply and refine AI/LLM workflows to improve terminology consistency, efficiency, and localization quality.
  • Evaluate AI output quality, document prompt learnings, and flag issues for the team.
  • Connect localization work to content performance and SEO signals to improve acquisition, conversion, and engagement in the Netherlands market.
  • Partner with Product, Design, Content System, Engineering, Marketing, and SEO to drive fully localized experiences.
  • Lead Dutch localization projects from kickoff through delivery, coordinating stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Research, gather, and synthesize customer feedback to advocate for Dutch users and improve UI, UX, content, and design.
  • Assess language service providers and freelancers, providing feedback, training, and performance management.
  • Maintain Dutch translation assets such as style guides, glossaries, and translation memory.
  • Share market intelligence on opportunities, threats, and competitor activity in the Netherlands.

Requirements

  • Native fluency in Dutch (nl-NL) and business proficiency in English.
  • BA or equivalent in translation, linguistics, content marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in Dutch translation, localization, or LQA, with a track record of leading projects end to end.
  • Experience conducting localization reviews, testing, and managing language quality initiatives for the Dutch market.
  • Hands-on experience using AI/LLM tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or MT engines in localization workflows.
  • Experience with prompt design, AI output QA, and post-editing.
  • Proficiency with Translation Management Systems (TMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS).
  • Experience in creative translation and transcreation, including adapting register, tone, and cultural sensitivity.
  • Strong collaboration skills working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
  • Experience assessing and managing language service providers, including feedback, training, and performance management.
  • Familiarity with regulated financial/crypto terminology in the Dutch market is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEO fundamentals and content performance metrics in the Netherlands market is preferred.
  • Experience with prompt engineering or AI-assisted content quality governance frameworks is preferred.
  • Knowledge of content design and its impact on Dutch UX is preferred.
  • Proficiency in one or more additional languages is preferred.
