Description

  • Build a long-term plan for net new logo pipeline generation.
  • Consistently deliver revenue targets and support year-over-year territory growth.
  • Identify, develop, and execute account strategies to generate pipeline and sales opportunities.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with decision makers in prospect accounts.
  • Scope, negotiate, and close agreements to meet and exceed revenue quota targets.
  • Use partners and the broader Okta ecosystem to identify and open opportunities.
  • Develop effective working partnerships with xDRs, Partners, Presales, Customer First, and other internal teams.
  • Travel as needed to build and maintain customer and prospect relationships.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of success growing revenue for complex enterprise SaaS products.
  • Experience evangelizing, educating, and creating demand within CTO organizations.
  • Strong track record of pitching and closing to Product, Engineering, and Architecture decision makers.
  • Deep technical discovery skills that resonate with the developer community.
  • Strong technical acumen with the ability to connect technical sales to business outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across all levels and technical audiences.
  • Confidence, self-direction, and humility to work effectively in teams.
  • Expertise using a sales framework such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, or Sandler; MEDDPICC is used internally.
  • Willingness to travel to the San Francisco, CA or Chicago, IL office for in-person onboarding during the first week of employment.

  • Annual On Target Compensation (OTE) range of $308,000 to $424,000 USD for candidates in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington.
