Description

  • Support strategic customer conversations with technical and engineering leaders and other stakeholders.
  • Lead technical discovery sessions to uncover identity, security, and infrastructure challenges.
  • Deliver customized product demonstrations and architectural sessions for Okta Identity Governance.
  • Design and run proof of concepts that show how Okta governance solutions integrate across SaaS, on-premises, and disconnected applications.
  • Develop customer-focused solution narratives that connect Okta’s offerings to business problems and outcomes.
  • Create and maintain reusable demonstration environments, diagrams, documentation, and proof-of-concept templates for presales use.
  • Provide strategic and technical guidance to Solutions Engineering teams across Okta identity platforms.
  • Partner with the Office of the Field CTO to gather field insights, validate customer needs, and inform Product and Engineering teams.
  • Deliver keynote presentations, webinars, and technical sessions at customer and industry events.
  • Collaborate with sales leadership, enablement, and field teams to support global initiatives and regional go-to-market efforts.

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of Active Directory and Azure AD/Entra ID, including GPOs, Kerberos, OIDC, and SAML.
  • Experience managing and securing multiple identity providers such as Okta, Ping Identity, and Google Workspace.
  • Experience with hybrid identity and synchronization between on-premises environments and the cloud.
  • Hands-on experience deploying or selling identity governance and compliance solutions such as SailPoint, Saviynt, Oracle Governance, or Lumos.
  • Hands-on experience with low-code/no-code automation tools such as Zapier or Workato.
  • Ability to translate complex Joiner-Mover-Leaver requirements into workable architecture and automation approaches.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, including experience contributing to technical events.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% for customer meetings, industry events, and internal off-sites.
  • Remote position.
  • Preferred experience with Okta Identity Governance.
  • Preferred certifications such as CIDPRO, CISSP, CCSP, or CISM.
  • Preferred scripting or automation skills with Python or PowerShell for security integrations.
  • Preferred experience with vibe coding tools such as Claude or Vercel.
