Description

  • Work directly with customers and internal teams to understand, scope, and build customized software solutions.
  • Support sales and expansion teams by providing technical product expertise during the pre-sale process.
  • Support the success team as the technical subject matter expert for custom functionality, custom reporting, data migration, enterprise plan development, and escalated support tickets.
  • Collaborate with tech and agency partners to evaluate, scope, and develop custom functionality for third-party integrations.
  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in Okendo’s products, code base, and integrations through training and independent research.
  • Partner with prospects and customers to gather technical requirements and recommend solutions that meet their needs.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between customers and internal teams from pre-sales through post-sales.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to communicate customer feedback, product bugs, and feature gaps.
  • Build custom solutions for strategic accounts and test/provide feedback on Okendo APIs and new product releases.
  • Manage projects independently and deliver solutions within reasonable timelines.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience as a software developer.
  • Intermediate to advanced expertise with TypeScript, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, Node, React, Angular, and AWS.
  • Knowledge of the Shopify environment, Shopify Liquid, and Shopify’s API.
  • Comfort interfacing with both customers and internal stakeholders across global teams.
  • Ability to take initiative and manage projects independently in a waterfall environment.
  • Ability to deliver projects within a reasonable timeline.
  • Strong creative and critical thinking skills to solve complex issues.
  • Experience with API, onboarding, security, and customer data considerations is important for the role.
  • Experience working with third-party tech integrations is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely in Canada.
