Description

  • Manage Oklo’s multi-site facilities portfolio, including capacity, constraints, leases, costs, and planned changes.
  • Establish processes for new space, expansions, relocations, facility modifications, and site exits.
  • Coordinate site searches, due diligence, lease activities, landlord relationships, and facility plans with Legal and Finance.
  • Serve as the primary contact for facility needs, coordinating maintenance, repairs, utilities, inspections, vendors, contractors, and landlords.
  • Lead facility openings, moves, tenant improvements, and modifications with internal and external partners.
  • Coordinate IT, cybersecurity, Security, EHS, Quality, insurance, and operational requirements throughout facility lifecycles.
  • Own facilities systems, records, standards, performance measures, budgets, forecasts, capital plans, contracts, and vendors.
  • Establish scalable standards for preventive maintenance, emergency procedures, compliance, documentation, and service levels.
  • Support receiving, storage, material handling, shipping, and logistics in partnership with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, EHS, and Security.
  • Assess risks, resolve facility and material-flow issues, and recommend staffing or local support as the portfolio grows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in facilities, workplace operations, construction management, industrial operations, warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience managing a multi-site portfolio including laboratories, warehouses, test facilities, light industrial space, or advanced manufacturing environments.
  • Hands-on experience with facility operations, vendors, maintenance, relocations, tenant improvements, leases, landlords, and service contracts.
  • Experience managing budgets, capital plans, forecasts, and facility or space decisions.
  • Ability to establish scalable practices, collaborate cross-functionally, communicate with executives, and work effectively in changing conditions.
  • Ability and willingness to travel among Oklo facilities and prospective locations.
  • Experience in nuclear, aerospace, energy, advanced manufacturing, research laboratories, defense, semiconductor, or another regulated or technically complex industry is preferred.
  • Experience building a facilities or site-operations function in a growing organization is preferred.
  • Familiarity with facilities, work-order, inventory, warehouse-management, ERP, or space-planning systems; relevant facilities, construction, project management, safety, or supply-chain credentials are preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $140,000–$180,000.
