Description

  • Facilitate learning activities that engage and retain students.
  • Mark assessments and provide constructive, meaningful feedback.
  • Support student communication through discussion boards, email, and live sessions.
  • Maintain visibility and responsiveness to students every 24-48 hours during the teaching period.
  • Collaborate with academic teams to maintain unit quality.
  • Uphold OES values to support a positive team culture and student experience.
  • Support students throughout their online learning journey.
  • Work within the scope of the role without designing curriculum, creating assessments, or scheduling classes.

Requirements

  • Minimum Master’s degree in Accounting, Financial Management, or Strategic Management.
  • 5+ years of industry experience.
  • Located in Australia.
  • Availability to work sessional part-time, around 8 hours per week, with hours that may increase based on marking and student group needs.
  • Comfortable using online learning platforms and digital tools.
  • Experience teaching or studying in an online environment (desirable).
  • Previous teaching or mentoring experience (desirable).
  • Able to manage time and responsibilities independently.
  • Empathetic toward the challenges faced by online learners.
  • Strong communication, organisation, and proactive work habits.
