Description

  • Define and drive the overall QA strategy, including automation coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness criteria.
  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, APIs, and smart contract integrations.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
  • Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for major releases across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
  • Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and improve testability of requirements.
  • Build tools and processes for cross-browser, cross-device, and wallet integration testing.
  • Establish and enforce QA best practices across teams.
  • Mentor QA engineers and analysts on automation, bug triage, and process improvements.
  • Work closely with DevOps to strengthen release pipelines and quality gates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in QA/software testing, including 2+ years in Web3 and at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
  • Proven experience building and scaling test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer.
  • Strong experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Familiarity with Web3 technologies, including smart contracts, wallets such as MetaMask and WalletConnect, blockchain transactions, and gas estimations.
  • Experience testing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
  • Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Linear, or TestRail.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Solid understanding of smart contract development frameworks such as Hardhat and Foundry, preferred.
  • Background in security and performance testing for blockchain and dApps, preferred.
  • Familiarity with DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or L2 scaling solutions, preferred.
  • Programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for building automation tools and tests, preferred.
  • Availability for meetings during the 8 AM - 12 PM EST overlap window (2 PM - 6 PM CET).
