Description

Define and drive the overall QA strategy, including automation coverage, quality metrics, and release readiness criteria.
Design, implement, and maintain automated test frameworks for web, mobile, APIs, and smart contract integrations.
Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
Lead test planning, execution, and reporting for major releases across functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing.
Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define acceptance criteria and improve testability of requirements.
Build tools and processes for cross-browser, cross-device, and wallet integration testing.
Establish and enforce QA best practices across teams.
Mentor QA engineers and analysts on automation, bug triage, and process improvements.
Work closely with DevOps to strengthen release pipelines and quality gates.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in QA/software testing, including 2+ years in Web3 and at least 2+ years in a senior or lead role.
Proven experience building and scaling test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Puppeteer.
Strong experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with Web3 technologies, including smart contracts, wallets such as MetaMask and WalletConnect, blockchain transactions, and gas estimations.
Experience testing APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Linear, or TestRail.
Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills with cross-functional collaboration experience.
Solid understanding of smart contract development frameworks such as Hardhat and Foundry, preferred.
Background in security and performance testing for blockchain and dApps, preferred.
Familiarity with DeFi, NFTs, DAOs, or L2 scaling solutions, preferred.
Programming experience in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python for building automation tools and tests, preferred.
Availability for meetings during the 8 AM - 12 PM EST overlap window (2 PM - 6 PM CET).
