Description

  • Own the collection, analysis, and reporting of key platform metrics such as uptime, API latency, deployment frequency, and data quality scores.
  • Build and maintain dashboards to monitor platform health and adoption trends across internal users.
  • Identify anomalies, regressions, and usage trends and translate them into product recommendations.
  • Support the product manager in writing and maintaining PRDs, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Conduct research and competitive analysis to inform roadmap decisions.
  • Document findings from stakeholder interviews, incident reviews, and backlog grooming sessions.
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from internal platform consumers to identify friction points and unmet needs.
  • Assist in running discovery sessions and turning qualitative feedback into structured problem statements.
  • Monitor data pipeline health across ingestion, transformation, and delivery layers and flag issues.
  • Work with Engineering and Data teams to validate data quality and ensure reported metrics are accurate.
  • Track sprint progress, manage the product backlog under PM direction, and flag risks or blockers.
  • Prepare materials for roadmap reviews, quarterly business reviews, and executive presentations.
  • Coordinate dependencies across platform and application teams.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in a product analyst, data analyst, business analyst, or associate PM role, ideally in a technical or platform product environment.
  • Strong SQL proficiency, including the ability to write complex queries against data warehouses such as Snowflake or BigQuery.
  • Working knowledge of data infrastructure concepts, including data pipelines, APIs, data warehousing, and BI tools such as Tableau or Metabase.
  • Familiarity with cloud and microservices environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus REST APIs and containerization concepts.
  • Ability to read architecture documentation and ask the right questions without needing to write infrastructure code.
  • Clear written communication skills with the ability to translate technical findings into concise summaries for technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with project or product tools such as Jira and Confluence or equivalent tools.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related analytical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, dbt, or Airflow is preferred.
  • Experience in a fintech or enterprise SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with internal developer platforms or platform engineering concepts is preferred.
  • Prior experience supporting a senior PM or working in an embedded analytics function is preferred.
