Description

  • Implement and enforce CSDM standards across business applications, application services, technical services, and configuration data.
  • Monitor CMDB health and remediate duplicate, orphaned, stale, or inaccurate configuration items.
  • Define and maintain CI classes, attributes, naming conventions, relationships, baselines, and data lifecycle standards.
  • Manage and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, MID Servers, discovery schedules, and third-party data ingestion.
  • Align Configuration Management with Incident, Change, Asset Management, ITSM, ITAM, and ITOM processes.
  • Support hardware and software asset management through data normalization, vendor and contract data management, cost optimization, and risk reduction.
  • Lead requirements workshops, estimate level of effort, and communicate platform capabilities to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Design, configure, develop, test, document, deploy, and support ServiceNow workflows, integrations, applications, and platform capabilities.
  • Apply development practices using Business Rules, Glide scripting, UI Policies, Flow Designer, ACLs, and update sets.
  • Support roadmap planning, upgrades, maintenance, security patching, vulnerability remediation, and occasional off-hours release deployments.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of relevant ServiceNow experience, including 3 years of ServiceNow development experience.
  • Hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, CSDM, ITOM, Discovery, and Service Mapping.
  • Practical implementation experience across ServiceNow applications such as CMDB, Discovery, ITAM, ITSM, or ITOM.
  • Experience configuring and maintaining MID Servers.
  • Experience developing ServiceNow solutions in an Agile or Scrum environment.
  • Understanding of servers, networks, AWS or Azure cloud environments, and enterprise applications.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and remediate data-quality issues.
  • Strong requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, effort estimation, documentation, diagramming, and communication skills.
  • Advanced degree plus 4 years of relevant experience, or bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, in a related field.
  • ServiceNow certifications, ITIL Foundation/v3/v4 certification, Service Portal experience, organizational change management knowledge, and upgrade or roadmap experience are preferred.
  • Must be located in LATAM and provide a personal laptop compatible with required company security and device-management software.

Benefits

  • Initial 6-month contract with potential renewal for a long-term engagement.
  • Contract rate of $40–$45 USD per hour, based on experience and fit.
