Description

  • Develop backend software using cloud-native approaches and object-oriented programming languages.
  • Build and maintain solutions with AWS services and related cloud deployment tools.
  • Work with Lambda, CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline in day-to-day development.
  • Contribute as a backend developer on engineering projects for the LATAM team.
  • Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders across Spanish and English communications.
  • Lead a team and a project when needed, according to business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
  • More than 6 years of experience in software development.
  • Experience with Java or other object-oriented programming languages such as JavaScript, Node.js, or Python.
  • Native cloud development experience with a strong understanding of cloud fundamentals.
  • Preferably experience working with AWS; Azure and Google Cloud practitioners are also welcome.
  • Experience with Lambda, CloudFormation, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Desired experience leading a team and a project.
  • AWS Pro or Specialty-level certification is preferred.
  • Agile methodology experience is preferred.
  • SQL experience with MySQL, MSSQL, or Oracle DB is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Git or a similar version control system is preferred.
