Description

  • Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables, follow up on past-due accounts, and support collections efforts.
  • Apply customer payments, maintain customer account records, and reconcile receivables balances.
  • Review, code, and process vendor invoices and payment runs.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, resolve invoice discrepancies, and maintain vendor files.
  • Assist with expense reporting and credit card reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
  • Support audits by providing requested documentation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, or general accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; NetSuite experience is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience working in a healthcare, insurance, or professional services environment is preferred.
  • Experience with electronic invoicing and payment platforms is preferred.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and internal control practices is preferred.
