Description

  • Design multi-platform test automation frameworks and build automated tests for functional, integration, regression, and performance coverage.
  • Contribute to testing strategies and help drive their implementation.
  • Write test plans and test cases.
  • Report software defects and collaborate with developers to resolve them.
  • Perform exploratory and manual testing to find edge cases and usability issues missed by automation.
  • Validate complex end-to-end user flows across mobile and other platforms before major releases.
  • Explore and integrate AI-powered tools into QA workflows to speed up test creation, expand coverage, and reduce cycle times.
  • Champion AI-assisted testing practices across the engineering organization.
  • Experiment with LLMs and AI assistants for test data generation, requirements-based test case creation, and flaky test triage.
  • Train and mentor less senior team members in test automation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience writing automated tests for web or mobile applications.
  • Experience writing automated tests for REST APIs.
  • Experience with Git and Docker.
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps best practices.
  • Experience with JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Experience with at least one automation framework: Jasmine, Jest, Mocha + Chai, Cypress, or Playwright.
  • Passion for breaking things and strong attention to detail.
  • Good written and spoken English skills.
  • Experience with Appium, BrowserStack, Playwright, or Postman is relevant to the role.
  • Mentoring or training experience is a plus.
