Description

  • Contribute to the development of Saily’s Android application as part of the mobile engineering team.
  • Integrate the Android app with existing backend REST APIs and provide mobile-focused feedback to backend teams.
  • Collaborate with web, backend, and UX teams to build new features and improve existing functionality.
  • Coordinate with Product Owners and QA/Support to maintain a high standard of app quality.
  • Debug and resolve issues reported by users and internal testing teams.
  • Write and maintain unit tests and UI tests for Android features.
  • Stay current with Android tools, patterns, and methodologies to improve code quality.
  • Drive the adoption of AI across the mobile platform and broader tech stack.
  • Audit the AI landscape and refactor project structures to support agentic coding workflows.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of extensive Android development experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Kotlin.
  • Experience with MVVM, clean architecture, Room or SQLite, and reactive programming libraries such as Coroutines.
  • Knowledge of modern Android ecosystem tools and libraries such as Jetpack Compose and Hilt.
  • Experience debugging and resolving issues reported by users and internal testing teams.
  • Experience writing unit and UI tests.
  • Excellent knowledge of Android APIs and SDK.
  • Experience working with large codebases.
  • Networking knowledge and previous experience developing telecommunication solutions is a plus.
  • Experience with agile methodology is a plus.
