Description

  • Own Android architecture decisions and long-term technical direction.
  • Improve app performance, stability, scalability, and technical resilience.
  • Drive adoption of modern Android practices such as Compose, Coroutines, and clean architecture.
  • Translate product requirements into scalable technical solutions and validate approaches through prototypes and experiments.
  • Build and ship high-quality features end to end.
  • Optimize networking, storage, background processing, lifecycle handling, and overall app performance.
  • Maintain clean, testable, and maintainable code while improving CI/CD and release processes.
  • Partner with Product, Design, and Backend teams on API contracts and system behavior.
  • Mentor junior and middle engineers, lead code reviews, and support knowledge sharing.
  • Contribute to engineering culture, standards, and team practices as the product grows.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with Android development in Kotlin.
  • Deep understanding of the Android SDK, app lifecycle, and system behavior.
  • Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose.
  • Experience with modern Android stack technologies such as Coroutines and Flow.
  • Solid understanding of architecture patterns including MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
  • Experience with networking tools and APIs such as Retrofit, OkHttp, and API design.
  • Strong knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with large-scale or high-load mobile apps is preferred.
  • Knowledge of security best practices such as authentication, encryption, and data protection is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, backend or cloud architecture, WebSocket, or real-time data handling is preferred.
  • Experience mentoring engineers or leading initiatives is preferred.
