Description

  • Lead the design, build, and deployment of AI systems into production across Nucleus and the broader platform.
  • Architect agentic workflows, including agent memory, orchestration, and multi-agent coordination.
  • Build and maintain evaluation frameworks that make agent decisions reliable at scale.
  • Develop production-grade AI features and harden them for dependable use by advisors and firms.
  • Set and improve AI-augmented engineering practices, including prompts, harness configurations, and tool-driven workflows.
  • Provide architectural leadership across AI systems, services, and supporting data flows.
  • Identify and address technical debt and developer experience gaps with AI-enhanced solutions.
  • Mentor and elevate other engineers, especially in building and shipping AI systems.
  • Continuously improve personal workflows and team technical practices to increase delivery velocity and quality.
  • Maintain deep understanding of domain data and how it impacts customer experience.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience.
  • Substantial experience building production systems and understanding data engines and pipelines.
  • Experience shipping AI systems into production, not just prototypes.
  • Experience building agentic workflows, agent memory, and orchestration.
  • Deep understanding of evaluation frameworks for improving agent decisions at scale.
  • Fluency with LangChain, LangGraph, GraphQL, and MCP.
  • Core use of AI-augmented development tools such as Claude Code, Devin, and Cursor.
  • Strong ability to direct multiple agents in parallel while applying staff-level judgment.
  • Comfort with SQL and Python in Snowflake and dbt.
  • Experience with CDC, APIs, and services such as DMS, OpenFlow, Kafka, or similar is a strong plus.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership, including internal or conference tech talks.
  • Experience mentoring others and reducing knowledge silos.
