Description

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and cases with developers for new features and enhancements.
  • Execute manual regression and integration testing to assess application behavior and release readiness.
  • Automate manual test suites and build reliable, maintainable coverage for web applications, APIs, and backend services.
  • Perform API, functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Collaborate with developers to validate implementations, identify defects, and verify fixes.
  • Provide QA approval for releases moving through staging and production environments.
  • Identify quality risks, technical blockers, and test-coverage gaps early in development.
  • Validate application data and backend processing using SQL queries and database analysis.
  • Investigate failures using application logs, cloud monitoring tools, and diagnostic data.
  • Advocate for testing at the unit, API, integration, and end-to-end levels.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong focus on test automation.
  • Proficiency in Python, C#, TypeScript, or another programming language.
  • Experience with Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or similar browser automation frameworks.
  • Experience testing HTTP APIs with Postman or comparable tools.
  • Experience with performance and load-testing tools such as JMeter.
  • Knowledge of unit-testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, NUnit, or similar.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with database tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Familiarity with AWS Console and services including ECS, RDS, CloudWatch, and S3.
  • Understanding of cloud computing, microservices, web applications, APIs, distributed services, and client-server architectures.
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices across the SDLC, including source control, code reviews, build and deployment, testing, and production operations.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Must be based in LATAM.
