Description

  • Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, collections, payroll, and general ledger activities.
  • Manage the month-end and year-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, local statutory requirements, and internal accounting policies.
  • Manage foreign currency transactions, intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidations.
  • Oversee cash flow management, banking activities, and working capital reporting.
  • Ensure tax and local compliance with government agencies, including income tax, sales tax, payroll tax, and other regulatory requirements for international locations.
  • Support annual audits.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team while establishing strong internal controls and processes.
  • Partner with executive leadership on budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives.

Requirements

  • University degree in Accounting is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience is required.
  • Experience managing accounting operations across multiple countries and legal entities is required.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and IFRS principles.
  • Experience with foreign currency translations and intercompany accounting.
  • Excellent written and verbal English and Spanish communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • ERP system experience is required; QuickBooks Online experience is a plus.
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail is needed.
