Description

  • Perform cause, knowledge, and gap analyses to determine the appropriate learning delivery approach.
  • Develop course guides for curriculum and EvolvEd™ courses to support facilitation.
  • Select instructional design methods, media, and facilitation styles for organizational interventions.
  • Build supporting materials that improve performance and training outcomes.
  • Align course content with the most effective formats, including instructor-led, e-learning, and blended learning.
  • Design, assemble, create, and package online courses in the LMS and authoring tools with subject matter experts.
  • Develop and refine tests, scoring guides, and curriculum materials.
  • Map course topics, objectives, and assignments to ensure standards are met and assessment is achievable.
  • Liaise with internal committees and participate in cross-functional projects as needed.
  • Refine or create processes to improve training development and other assigned work.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from an accredited institution in Learning Science, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Assessment, Learning Design, Curriculum Design, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience designing learning technology, software, or learning environments.
  • 2+ years of experience developing courses in an LMS and authoring tools.
  • Demonstrated experience designing assessments within distance learning experiences.
  • Demonstrated understanding of concept-based, competency-based, project-based, and other learning design models.
  • Demonstrated experience contributing to learning design systems with numerous stakeholders and requirements.
  • 3+ years gathering and applying peer-reviewed scholarly research and user research (preferred).
  • Experience in Nursing, Allied Health, or Health Sciences Education (preferred).
  • Experience in micro-credentialing (preferred).
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen.
  • Attendance at New Collaborator Orientation (NCO) in Salt Lake City, Utah is required for all new hires.
