Description

Lead the design, delivery, and support of software and platform solutions.
Manage team performance, behavior, coaching, feedback, development goals, and performance reviews.
Participate in project scope, schedule, and cost reviews.
Understand product capabilities and limitations to guide execution.
Identify and implement improvements to quality, standards, and team efficiency.
Oversee new product software development, software maintenance, and bug fixes.
Plan and manage release scheduling.
Track and report team assignments, project status changes, and forecast timelines.
Prioritize and manage department activities and projects in line with department goals.
Develop team members into future leaders and strengthen the internal leadership pipeline.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Master’s degree in Computer Science or Business Management preferred.
Relevant certifications preferred.
8+ years of experience with operating systems, development tools, and development methodologies.
Experience with Java, C#, C++, NLP, Scala, Python, NodeJS, and modern horizontal scaling technologies such as AWS, Azure, and Apache.
Experience with Agile software development and Scrum methodologies.
Proven ability to deliver releases on deadline without compromising quality.
Ability to work under deadlines and complete projects on time and within budget.
Excellent interpersonal skills across all levels of an organization.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work through conflict, gain trust, and influence outcomes.
Experience with telephony, networking, hosted applications, IVR applications, or telephony apps is preferred.
Experience with user acceptance testing, regression testing, and integration testing is preferred.
