Description

  • Lead, coach, and mentor Software Engineers delivering customer professional services projects.
  • Gather technical and systems requirements from end users, stakeholders, and technical SMEs.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications, including UI configuration, workflows, business logic, and new modules.
  • Configure REST and SOAP integrations between ServiceNow and external applications.
  • Develop and validate service maps, impact assessment rules, and event management solutions.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing and promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments.
  • Remediate production incidents and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Align map and event work with technical leads to preserve shared platform patterns.
  • Create technical design documents and user documentation.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience implementing, administering, configuring, and/or developing ServiceNow across at least two capabilities.
  • Strong Service Catalog experience, including ITSM, Service Catalog, and workflow implementations.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using MID Servers and cloud-to-cloud connections.
  • Experience with SOAP, REST, bi-directional, and automated web service integrations.
  • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC or ETL integrations.
  • Proficiency with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and create technical and user documentation.
  • Four-year degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
  • Willingness to complete ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations.
  • ITIL Foundation and ServiceNow CSA/CAD certifications preferred.
