Description

  • Collaborate across teams to solve complex technical customer problems within the APM product suite.
  • Troubleshoot and analyze customer issues using strong analytical and diagnostic methods.
  • Provide customer support with empathy across installation, configuration, and data exploration requests.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to resolve intricate APM-related issues.
  • Advocate for customers by documenting feature requests and reporting bugs to the Product organization.
  • Support customers using infrastructure technologies in Kubernetes and cloud-native environments.
  • Continue building technical expertise through training and exposure to additional infrastructure features and technologies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience delivering end-user software support through email, phone, and social media.
  • Strong customer focus and the ability to delight customers in challenging situations.
  • Experience troubleshooting and optimizing application performance in enterprise environments, including distributed tracing, latency analysis, and error profiling.
  • Solid understanding of Linux-based environments, including services, permissions, and file manipulation.
  • Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, including monitoring microservices and understanding sidecar patterns or DaemonSets.
  • Familiarity with web technologies and cloud hosting services such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across teams or disciplines to troubleshoot and solve problems.
  • Prior experience in a DevOps, Software Engineering, or Technical Support role.
  • Experience with additional IaaS platforms such as Azure or Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
  • Certifications in Java, Python, or K8S are a plus.
  • Familiarity with New Relic products is preferred.
  • Comfort analyzing and interpreting system and application logs.
