Description

  • Create and deliver Business Value Assessments, including ROI modeling, TCO analysis, and value realization benchmarking.
  • Partner with Sales Leadership and Account Executives to shape deal strategies centered on business justification.
  • Translate technical metrics such as MTTR, error rates, and cloud cost into business KPIs such as revenue at risk, subscriber churn, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive the value realization process from initial discovery through post-implementation tracking and reporting.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal sales teams and customer C-suite executives.
  • Lead business value discovery workshops to uncover customer pain points and connect them to New Relic value pillars.
  • Mentor and train GTM teams on value-based selling best practices to improve win rates and deal size.

Requirements

  • Extensive relevant experience in value engineering, management consulting, investment banking, strategic pre-sales, or strategic finance with a focus on deal structuring or sales operations.
  • A master’s degree with relevant professional exposure is acceptable in place of extensive work experience.
  • Exceptional executive presence with the ability to influence both C-level executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Strong proficiency in building financial models such as ROI, NPV, and payback period analyses.
  • Ability to create executive-level presentations.
  • Ability to work through complex issues involving identifiable factors and intangible variables.
  • Ability to understand distributed systems and observability concepts, including APM, infrastructure, and log management.
  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the EMEA market landscape is preferred.
  • Multilingual capability in French, German, or Spanish is preferred.
  • Experience with value management tools and platforms is preferred.
