Description

  • Own a territory and sell to all stakeholders within new enterprise accounts.
  • Build and expand top-of-funnel activity through prospecting and relationship development at multiple levels.
  • Collaborate with sales support resources including executives, demand generation, and solution consulting.
  • Develop strategies to win new logos and position New Relic against competitors.
  • Identify customer needs and configure suitable offerings from the product portfolio.
  • Close large-scale, multi-year subscription-based deals using the company’s sales process.
  • Prepare forecasts, build pipeline coverage, document activities in Salesforce, and report progress to sales management.
  • Diagnose each account’s business plan and technology stack to identify demand triggers.
  • Maintain working knowledge across New Relic’s product lines and communicate business value to customers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Extensive quota-carrying sales experience as an account owner at a software or technology company focused on new business acquisition.
  • Track record of closing multi-year and subscription/consumption-based SaaS deals.
  • Track record of tenacity and driving results with a sense of urgency.
  • Proven ability to cultivate relationships by advising on quality or manufacturing insights, best practices, and strategy.
  • Excellent leadership and ability to work with and indirectly manage sales support colleagues.
  • Viewed as an expert in the domain by accounts.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
